ARTE (A Reason To Erase) - OctoLab

 This is the fourth video out of five from the OctoLab Saga "To Be Continued" directed by Jonas Wolcher.. This video is inspired by the black and white horror movies from the 60 in US. I wanted it to look like something from that period.

My name is Jonas Wolcher https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonas_Wolcher. I am a traumatized cult movie director who needs help to go back and produce/direct great movies once more. In my past I've been living in relationships which were not good and now many years later they have put deep scars inside me but I will never surrender!

 

 What I really want to do is to go back and make movies, but due to my economical situation and psychological status I can't do it. Not yet. That's why I decided to ask for your support. To get some income and oil the machinery once more and start to make really good movies.

 

Me and my fiance Helen she's the CEO of Ranrikestudios, our production company in northern Bohuslän, Sweden, an absolutely perfect location to make movies in. 

 

Close to nature, the sea and not far from Norway. This place suit us and it's here where we get all the ideas of projects we really want to make. Everything from Ghost Assassins, poison murderers, domestic violence, historical dramas, syfys and of course my favorite genre, Horror!

Cannibal Fog 10 years anniversary

In 2014 I did an Indiegogo campaign in hope to get a budget for making one of the first Swedish cannibal movies. The project was called "Göteborgskannibaler" but the final title became Cannibal Fog. Now 10 years later I am thinking of reediting the movie and have a re-release for the 10-years anniversary. What's your opinion?

Pictures from #storm #Louise outside #Hamburgsund. The wind is blowing 23 m/sec in the wind gusts and the water is high above normal. - I'm standing on the balcony and using a gimbal when filming. The wind is so strong that the motors in the gimbal can't really keep up. It has a life of its own.  BLAST FROM THE PAST.

ZECOND COMING - "Thorns" is the story of Idaho Thorns - The Bride of Blood who is about to get married when suddenly her guests transform into a horde of flesh eating zombies.

The video is an homage to horror comics from the 50s-60s and so is the music. "Thorns" oozes vibes from 1960s traditional Rock 'n Roll. It's a blend of Roy Orbinson, Elvis and Tom Jones.

 

 

 

This is Jonas Wolcher (creator of New Swedish Genre Cinema) first real Rock 'n Roll music video. It was shot May 2017 in Floda, Sweden.
